Hand-fit dovetailed drawers by craftsman Jay Peterson.The library is crafted in solid Bubinga. All bookshelves and sitting bench are hand dovetailed and crafted by Jay, Jason and Jeremy Peterson. Bookshelves continue down two hallways giving generous storage capacity. Hand fit blind dovetail drawers beneath the bench are made in Western Maple. The library also has a fireplace, with doors meticulously shaped by master metal smith Jim Garrett. A whole house sound system by Elan is housed in the library cabinet, which includes a CD music hard-drive. Matt Dillon of Snoqualmie handcrafted the leather bench cushions. A set of wooden books hide a light switch, a playful touch crafted by Thomas Eck. A solid Bubinga and Laurel paneled pocket door reveals the Office and provides sound privacy within.
